whoa! i did the exact same thing for a project i had in 4D, where we had to make an installation. i calculated how much recyclable stuff americans throw away every second (because there's no way i'm can collect millions of plastic bottles, glass bottles, plastic bags, paper...) and stuck them around a room. it's really sad how much stuff goes to waste.
by the way, this is joanna (ashley's friend), hi :) i have no idea how i manage to keep finding your websites. but i enjoy reading it!
(i did manage to get 10,000 plastic bags for every second, heh heh.)
Wow, really? Do you have photos of the installation online anywhere?
unfortunately i don't, and now that you mention it, i don't know where i stored those photos (this was 3 years ago). if i ever do find them though, i'll let you know
