We're not getting too old for this
Paul and I (and J. Brian) are oh-so stylin' in black t-shirts on the front page of Velocity's website this week (the Party Crasher section). I'm not sure if the photo's in the print version as well. I suppose it might be, but I'm too lazy to go hunt down a copy (and, yeah, it's 101 degrees out, so I'm not leaving this air-conditioned office until the sun is very, very low in the sky). Sunday's Queens of the Stone Age in-store at ear x-tacy was hot, crowded, and really good. Considering that we did that in addition to closing out a bar for the second weekend in a row, I guess I can say I've got a social life after all. Hooray!
This also keeps me on track concerning my goal of appearing in print media at least once per year for no apparent reason whatsoever. To recap: 2005, Velocity cover and feature story about being a member of the workforce who goes back to graduate school; 2006, Courier-Journal quote about Scarlett Johannson's career; 2007, Velocity photo of us standing in a parking lot in mid-to-high-90s temperatures while waiting to see a free rock show. Isn't it awesome how I'm doing such important and worthwhile things with my life?

I hate to be the bubble-burster, but the print version of Velocity does not contain that photo. Everyone knows that print media is dead anyway...
HAHAHAHA! You read Velocity? Woohoo, what a sucker.
Just kidding.
Anyway, 2007 is still young, sort of. I've got plenty of time.
Didn't also get quoted in the Courier at Teddy Kennedy's speech sometime ago?
Oh, yeah! "He's an important figure in politics and it was a great opportunity to hear him speak blah blah blah I'm glad he wasn't drunk." Or something to that effect. I guess that was, what, 2005?
