Red Data

I've started posting my comic book reviews at a more appropriate venue: Comic Addiction. That site just went back online and my review for X-Men #197 is up. The head of the site wants at least 300 words per review, so I can wax poetic about comic books until my geek falls off.

In other geek news, I've been working on a ten page comic story for a proposed anthology produced by a bunch of fellow posters on the Comic Geek Speak forum. I pitched a couple ideas I've had brewing and one of the artists and a colorist/graphic designer both expressed interest. Now all we'll need is an inker and a letterer. Last night, I was able to make some real progress hashing out the plot/script. I've never worked on a comic book before, but I've always wanted to, so I'm going to take full advantage of this opportunity.

In creative news, my band, Old Man, is gearing up for our first show in over two years. We're all pretty excited to get back out and rock a stage. I really need to restring my guitar this weekend.

And finally, in my thirst for new music, I decided to try Sirius online for a couple days. I've fallen in love with it and decided to purchase a subscription to listen to it over the internet. This is plenty fine since I listen to it at work, for the most part. Any new songs I discover and can't live without, I'll just buy on iTunes.
